Thanks for the link you provided. Maybe I have some chance then.

And the reason for 95.Trucks manufactured or first time registered before 7-95 are easier to import to Finland and get registered. After that there are needed E-acceptance of lights instead of DOT for example. There are of course some ways to get it through like install extra lights, after market lights or lights even from a different car. That's why 95.

I'm also interested in diesel version. I'd like it also extended cab and short bed anyway.

FYI, if you find an extended cab, it will not have any 3rd doors for the extended cab part. That didn't start until '98.

Yep, I did a test drive with diesel auto tranny 98 ext cab with 3rd doors on sunday. It was nice ride but the light modifications didn't turn me on at all.

what kind of mods to the lights do you need. you said add extra lights, but how many and where. What are they looking for in the lighting system? just wondering.

Extra lights will replace the original lights functionality and originals stay only as a cosmetic dummies. Extra lights musthave this E-marking on their glasses. Maybe some like it hot to have extra lights on the nose of the trucklike you can see in snow plow Ram.

You are not only just wondering what are they really looking for the lighting system! Traffic safety I have heard! But all the time they are still accepting cars and trucks with DOT lights without E-marks made before 7-95.
