Default Brake light issues

The other night i took a trip an hour away from home, my front passanger brake line developed a pinhole leak and i ended up w/ no front breaks, i had to mash the brakes all the way to the floor to get the rear brakes to kick in, i limped to a motel and stayed the night, as no part or repair shops were open. I ended up replacing the rubber brake line that goes into the caliper today, brakes feel great, but now i have a problem, the rear brake lights stay on if i dont pull up the pedal a 1/2 cm after every time i step on the brake. anybody have any ideas? ive never had this problem before, thanks!!

Boo (brake on off) switch most likely needs to be adjusted

Is the pedal sloppy enough to allow you to pull it up? If so, I would adjust the booster-to-master cylinder rod 1st to get rid of the lash. Then try the switch.
