Default Remote Start

Just put on a Bulldog RS1100 remote start and keyless entry on my truck (2000 Ram). $89.99 and I ordered the $30.00 T-harness. I've never done any wiring on a vehicle and had the remote start and keyless entry installed and loomed in 2 hours. The T-harness was highly worth it. It saved time and also left the ignition harness in tact. Aside from that, it was a quick wire to the parking lights, one to the brake light sensor, and a couple to the door lock switch. Highly recommended, very easy, great tech support. Don't forget the Torx 15 to remove the steering column cover (the T-harness goes right by the ignition key). Now when I'm in Houghton at school, I'll have a warm truck when I walk out of my dorm. Can't wait to start it when I'm up on the ski lift!

...just as long as I don't drop it from way up there.

For my 95, they didn't have a t-harness. It was splice as you go and let me tell you, what a pita it was to put that thing in. I like having it but man, next time, I'll pay someone else to do it.

i have a 95' and remote start came stock in mine. It doesnt work worth a damn, it cranks up but sounds like its not turning the motor over completely and it just shuts off after about 25 seconds. Im used to fords so i can do without. Unless anyones had the same problem before?
