Hi, New to forum. Does anyone know how to make your own O2 simulator? I am planning on taking my cat out due to the rattling and lose of power. Might have to install a simulator if code appears.
You'd have to know what voltage the PCM is looking for (which I can't help you with) and then produce a sender that will constantly provide that output signal.

The voltage has to oscisillate (sp) or you will get a code. Mine switches back and forth between .47v and .82v. I have seen diy stuff on the internet with detailed schematicsand instructions on how to make them, but opted for the Fastman simm.
I have also heard of guys wrapping there sensor w/ tin foil, tying it to the frame, plugging it back, and not getting any codes. You may want to try this first.
