Default Removing.....

i am going to be removing the intake amnifold to retrieve a lost bolt.

can some one tell what tools i will need to complete the job
so i can bring them home from work and possible get this done over the weekend.

if i remember right.. just your basic.. plus fuel line remover to take the line off the rail

Ive herd that the fuel line remover isnt worth it, that you can like do it with your hands or somthign... is that true? Im taking mine off tomarow so it would be helpful.

Never been able to do it with hands, the tool sells at autozone or others for very little, 5 or 6 bucks, its a universal tool for many sizes/vehicles, and is very easy to use. I think it's absolutely needed.

I dunno if theres a difference from the 94-97 type and the 98-01 but I didn't need a special tool. I just remove the clip and the fuel line pops right out.

hughes plenum kit.
fuel line tool is 3/8 size.
one thing leads to another - while intake is off is a real good time to change rotor, cap, and wires.

I did it on my '97 with my hands. I guess the girly men on this board are lacking
