be happy.. steering box brand new is 800 bucks.. trust me .. i went thru that route.. BUT there is a post on here about it.. and instructions w/ pics on how to rebuild it... replacing all the seals... i ended up picking up a used one from a bone yard for 125. .. but still.. seems a little high.. i think you should be glad you turned it down..

Well, I went and checked it out, awesome truck everything checked clean except the steering box was pouring lol. he was asking 6400 i offered him 6 and id take care of the steering box.. and the power door lock on the passenger side lol forgot about that... and the guy turned it down, it was a lexus dealer so im not suprised haha, so after looking it over for like an hour and playin around with it, i ended up not getting it... thank god there are more than one truck out there... lol

i get about 12.5mpg. and i have been driving quite grandmother-ly lately. (trying to figure out if i need to rebuild my axles). and with the little mods like the k&n fipk, and the holley tb, i have had a nice increase in power, but i haven't lost any mpg. perhaps the high flow cat and 3' pipes even it all out? who knows. i love it though!

i LOVE the 360.. dont know why they didnt put them in ALL the rams... my old ram i had the 360 in.. and it was flawless.. and i was getting lousy milage.. around 10 with the plenum gasket blown... after i replaced it.. cleaned up the tb.. tuneup. all that crap.. i was up to around 17.. NOW i have a ram 1500 with the 318 in it.. and it SUCKS.. matter of fact think im going to find a way to put a 360 in it.. so yea... if u dont want the 360.. get up with me.. we can trade

I have a 98 Sport 4X4 with the 360 and like you guys I only run synthetics. Mine is a daily driver and I put an avg of 120miles a day highway. It doesn't leak,smoke,or clatter. I'm running a set of 35X12.5R17 Dunlop Mud Rovers with a set of 4.56 gears. She cruises at 2100 rpm's at 70mph. I go 380miles on 28 gallons do the math.
