Well i'm not sure if they changed them from my year to yours, but when I just put a flowmaster 40 on two weekends ago and it was 2.5 in and 2.5 out. Best of luck to you. They do sound nice.

It's pretty easy to check, just crawl under the passenger side and look for the water heater under there.

If everything's stock and the exhaust gets smaller right before and after the muffler, it's 2.5" in/out. if not, it's 3" in/out. The flowmaster website has apart matcher built in, doesn't it? you'll need an offset in, center out most likely.

The best advice I can honestly give is take it to a muffler shop and have them put a 3" in/out on it, if you want to keep the rest of the exhaust. I did this 2 weeks ago and noticed a huge differencein pickup and sound. The rust on the exhaust clamps will be a PITA to get though and you'll have to buy extra pipe and cut and seal it to get the new smaller muffler to fit to make the exhaust exit in the same place. Muff and Cat cost me $375 in parts and labor and was well worth it to me to not have to climb under there and cut/fit/weld it all back together.

Justmy $0.02though.

Yeah I hear that.
New muffler installation = 10 minutes
Removing old muffler with a hacksaw
and splitting off intake and outake rings with a chissel = 2 1/2 hours [:@]
