Bout ready to do some work....
Well i got my plenum kit from hughes 2 days ago (they have fast delivery!!!) and i have the right cutting tools to do my own intake manifold and also i have a polishing wheel to polish it out. All im waiting for is my 50mm Fastman TB to come in! Just picked up some shop rags and fender covers. I think everything should be fairly easy because im goin by some DIY posts off here and also i bout the Haynes Repair Manual for 94-01 dodge rams. If theres anything else i should do or know fill me in would yah! Also what kinda gains would i be seeing with my current setup.. Thnx guys!!!
Get the 2001 service manual from the forum here for comparison with the Haynes. Search Merry Christmas on the2nd gen forum.
Oh yeah, it also seems mandatory to have a case of beer handy, just one of the tips I picked up hereon the forum.

little things that come to mind...
i labeled both ends of every wire and hose and connector that i took apart, using masking tape. also put bolts and nuts and little stuff in zip lock bags and labeled them to try and keep the mystery down.
i was doing water pump at the same time, so i was able to climb over in the engine compartment and stand in front of the motor. i feel for you if you have to do everything from outside. i use a 2 step ladder to try and reach stuff.
the red tabbed connectors on the injectors baffled me for a while, pull back on the red tab to unlock it, but then you squeeze the other part. i broke one of the red tabs before i figured it out. a medium flat screwdriver at the base helps to seperate them.
3/8 in disconnect tool removes the fuel line.
take lots of pic including before you take it apart. i had to look back at my pics on a couple of things.. then you can post them here for us to enjoy
allow lots of time and don't get in a rush.
good luck.
