It is right by the ac compresser, but it isnt that connection, I have stretched it like every way it goes and I am not seeing anything that it goes to... the inside is very clean which makes me belive that it was plugged in before.

Check up around the throttle body, there's like 3 or 4 around there that need to be reconnected.

Also,

Print off Steve's plenum gasket replacement guide and read through and strike out each connector that you visually have ensured is reconnected. There's too many in there to bother listing here.

i just looked at my 01. it looks like one of the 2 connections to the ac compressor.
there is one at the bottom, an electrical pigtail.
this one connects into the compressor line, at the top rear.
let me know if you want a pic.

I know that plug, I deconnected mine when I put my valve covers on, but I can't remember what it was for.
But shouldn't the other end be right near by?

Thanks guys!!! I really appriciate the quick responses!!!!

I figured out what it was, it was the electrical connection that goes into the a/c line... I had those lines completely in a differnet spot and forgot about it.

The trucks running now!!!!! Just a little coolant leak I gotta fix.

Well, like 6 hours or so... Most of the time was cleaning... a whole slew of dirt fell in when I took off the manifold.

Im not going to lie, its the simple things that took the longest... It took me like 10 minutes to figure out of the damn sparkplug wire holder things open, and to get that little radiator shroud off took some time.
I also had a broken bolt holding down the intake manifold, who knows maybe it came like that from the factory, but I had to dig that out.

Your going to want a helper if you do it, there are alot of times where you need more than 2 hands, and that manifold is pretty heavy, lifting it on there in the right spot carfully is hard, becasue your like bent out over the truck... I had to get my dad to help me with that, and Im a pretty big guy so it wasent a lack of strengh.
