Is a throttle body spacer worth it?
don't do it. a waste of $98 it you're thinking of going with airaid. i used mine for target practice in Iraq. amazing what a m60 and 50cal can do to a piece of aluminum....

i guess they just manufactured them to make the extra $. makes you wonder if they really care about the application of the product... unless the carbed 318/360 has the same mounting options.
i've got an airraid one on my truck, the only thing i noticed was a whistle when i step on it and maybe 2mpg better fuel economy. I've got the 5.2 and no there aint much difference. The only reason i got it was cause it came with the truck. The other thing i got frusturaded about is that i had to cut away at the firewall to fit my massive cold air intake on with the spacer [:@]but it sure looks cool!


you didn't notice any mpg or power from the spacer. end of story. Something else is resbonsible for any improvments that you saw. There is no physicsal way fot that spacer to help anything on these motors.
