Default AN ONGOING DILEMMA!

The question that I have is....do e-bay parts really work? I haven't purchased anything just yet but I have done some looking and was wondering if anybody could share their past experiences. In particular, i'm interested in finding aftermarket headlights for my 1998 Dodge Ram Sport. I stiil wonder if regular 1998 Ram headlights will fit my application. My headlightsconsist of2 pieces on each side. Does anyone know?

Things like headlights will probably fit, but theres always the chance they're just flat out molded wrong. Make sure to buy from a good seller that will give money back if it doesn't work.

I recently bought headlights for my truck on e-bay. Came with the brackets and the side lights as well. All for about $90 : $65 for lights and $25 for shipping. Oh - and they came with the headlight bulbs in them which are worth probably $15 by themselves. Looked and fit just like OEM. I would say a great deal.

I guess that I'll just have to see if I can contact the makers before I buy the headlights and just go with trial and error. Hopefully I will find what I'm looking for. So what is the heads up guys,
e-bay parts: Good
Bad
(check one please)
lol

When I bought my Ram one of the tail lights was broken so I bought a pair off ebay (Smoked black Euro's) and it was worth it. I paid something around $60 for the pair. Fitment could have been a little better but I didnt have any problems with them.

I have some after market lights also from Ebay... took a little while to get here, but that's because I didn't overnight them. But like everyone said, just make sure the seller has a good reputation.

I didnt buy the headlights exactly since i have the clear ones what i did get was the bulb hyperwhite which they look green since my truck is green. I had the silverstar sylvanas on there and they looked regular yellow, that was two years ago and i would recommend if ur doign it just for cosmetic.

I agree when i bought my black projectors off ebay they were nicely made as far as looks and durability but the fitment sucked...i could not get them in and adust them perfect and there was a huge gap and looked horrible IMO (im picky) so i had to cut the brackets and refab them up it took about 6 hours total work to get them perfect....
