Default Spark Plug Gap

I have a question about sprak plug gap. I have Jacobs Ignition and Autolite 3923s. My question is with the Jacobs setup should I be running a larger gap? If so what are the advantages of running a larger gap? Thanks!

larger gap , bigger spark , more fuel burn , power , MPG (IFFY) the idea is gap .05 over stock or no higher then .050 ..when i ran the MSD box i pulled plugs every 2 weeks till i see the best burn on the plug...
