Tight Clearence
Now I know every one told me not to, but I was too stuburn to listen back in Feb. or March whenI brought a cheap *** TB spacer for my Ram. Seemed ok with it $15. It didn't make the air to fuel mixture travel farther to the chamber, because the injectorsare on the maniifold on the fuel rails. The only two things it did was make my TBnot heat up as fast and moved the air box up. Two months ago I ordered a PaceSetter air intake from Summit for $109. I have not puy it on til today, because I was in a wreck June 25; for complete info see the Off Topic section. In short talk I had to do away with the spacer to put on the air box. Due to tight clearence.
Now my '92 Chevy 350 w/TBI had3 seperate TB spacers [it looked like a high tunnel ram intake]and it actually made the air/fuel mixture mix better and I had a cold airtube on it, but the engine fitted flush to the firewall unlike my RAM.
