Default herculiner body panels?

So my question is what would be involved in using herculiner on the sides of my truck. the previous owner did alot of offroading needless to say the paint is scratched to hell from like middle of the truck to the bottom, 99% is right in that body line that runs the entire truck so i was thinking of just goin from that line down. Whatya think? if so do i just leave it black? or paint it close to the color of my truck? the reason i wanna herculiner it instead of having itpainted by my boss is because those tiresLOVE to throw rocks at about 40mph right into my body panels.and do i do it from the Red line down or yellow line down? and Should i do the rear bumper? its getting a couple bubble spots of rust on it im gonna just sand them down get rid of it, por 15 it then paint? or herculiner it? any suggestions would be great. I wanna get this done befor northeast ohio lovely winter comes and get 5000 pounds of salt on it

I used a similar product called Hippo Liner and I went from the yellow line down. I think it looks good like that. I also painted my bumpers. I seen a white truck with the liner done from the red line down and I personally thought it was to much, but that may have been because the truck was white.
