slow crank, you may want to check how much power your battery has while ur at it, maybe dead battery or alternator

Make sure all electrical connectionsat the starter are clean and tight. Make sure the starter is tight because if I'm not mistaken the ground for the starter is through the mounting bolts. Not likely the problem but possible. Seen stranger things and free to try.

well..i was thinking that..but one time when i cranked it last night there was a real weird sound that came from the starter..like the solenoid jammed up or something..i tried again and it didnt make the noise...thats why i am under the assumption that is is the starter

lol stupid me....do you think a lose negative cable would cause this to happen..because i noticed the battery was dead today..looked at the cable and noticed i never tightened her down..so i am guessing she never got power back from the alternator since there was no good connection..am i right?
