I will order the smoked ones also. I will install them after I get my "faded" hood and roof re-painted.
Looks like they will be fairly easy to install.

alot of people say that about the lights, i agree to a certain extent. if your 1500 is mod'ed and is big, go ahead and do it. they look good, but if its stock, dont drive to south georgia cause you will get stared at. usually the rule is 2500+ add lights. does anyone know the offical name of these lights? i have heard clearance lights, cab lights, caution lights, roof lights lol.
Ryan590 is right. Most states have laws regarding colors of lights.
Here in CT lights facing foward can only be white (headlights) and yellow/amber (directionals). Lights facing rearward can only be white , yellow or red. Blue lights are a big no no, no greens either, and red ones can't face forward.

I have a 98 1500 Sport 4X4 and mine look great. I bought the set at Advanced Autoparts for $20 and they complete with everything needed. I went to the local Dodge dealership to get the measurements and it took me an about an hour and a half to install them. I will tell you this though pull the head liner down prior to drilling the holes. You don't have to remove it completely . My truck is also white ( I think your's is from the pic) and they look great.

I've been thinking about putting cab lights on my truck because I like the way a truck looks with them but a couple guys I know say that since I'm not a desiel and I'm only a 1500, that it wouldn't look right. So I'm just wondering what ya'll think about putting cab lights on a 1500.

If the late 90's silverado 1500's could haveclearance lights direct from the factory (which they did)i'd say that mostDodge Ram 1500's can have clearance lights and get away with it,along withthat grill guard you have on your truck clearance lights are gonna make it look even meaner.

Well I'm going to put clearance lights on my truck for sure now and I cannot wait to do it. And yes mcs8541, my truck is white. And to jnellydodge, my truck will look meaner with clearance light but image about 6 months from now, the truck being jacked up 4 1/2 inch's plus wider 35" tires. Now that'll bemean looking[sm=badbadbad.gif]
