Default Cab lights

I've been thinking about putting cab lights on my truck because I like the way a truck looks with them but a couple guys I know say that since I'm not a desiel and I'm only a 1500, that it wouldn't look right. So I'm just wondering what ya'll think about putting cab lights on a 1500.

blue light may not be a good idea (and we know your going for the transformers look) gonna get pricy real quick when you start getting fined/impounded for "impersonating an emergency vehicle" or what ever they call it

maby have a look at this thred

Hello All,
Any "how to" tips for installing the cab lights on the 1500's?
I have a 99 quad cab I want to put them on.
I did a forum search for cab lights. I did not find any idaes or instructiuons that way (not sure if I performed the search properly).
Thanks and Best Regards,
06QuadHemi

I have a set of black Recon clearance lights which i put on a few months ago. Installing them is simple just time consuming.

when I bought my 99 1500 they were on there and I think they look great....doesn't need to be a diesel to have them look good...only thing I have been thinking about is changing from the amber lenses to dark or smoke ones...if I can find them...any ideas??
