Mine is a daily driver in which my commute to work is 75% highway @ 70mph and 25% city. Before the fans I was getting 360 miles to the tank and after I'm getting 380miles to the tank. I am running 4.56 gears and 35X12.5R17 Radial Mud Rovers by Dunlop ( Awesome mud tire for the buck and they don't hum check them out @ www.tirerack.com). At 70mph I'm at 2100rpms. I'm glad you posted your mods because I want to go from the headers with a 2.5" pipe into the cat then a single 3" pipe no mufflers ( It's like that now but with the stock size pipe. I wanted to dual but the majority of the members say it will hurt not help the performance of the mostly stock engine I have) thensplit off to the corners I currently have. I do need the info on the coil ( I tried Accel before and was not impressed with the performance of it).

Is this true, that dual exhuast will hurt a stock engine and mpg too? the only thing i would say that it mabe would do is the loss of back pressure?

i have a volant CAI and it is great. i noticed (i keep track of it) a .5 mpg increse with it. but i hear that the 14" round filter is the way to go.

Keep it to 2.25" pipe and you'll be ok.
I went from 2.5 to 2.25 and could tell a difference instantly.
Ram felt a lot better on normal take off from a stop.

 

Those are quite expensive. Go this way.

Go with S&B cai and the fastman tb and flowmasters with 2 1/4 pipes. I get 16+mpg on the highway. The gears need to be a little tallerthan 3.55 though. You may lose a little on mpg but will get more power to the gound.

 

Just wanted to add that a good set upfrom MSD wouldn't hurt.
I would set that puppy up w/ acap , coil , and wires from them .
should help w/ throttle respose and give ya a better burn.
