Default L.E.D Tailgate Light Bar

Ok so i have been looking into one of thoes led tailgate light bars, and it looks like they are made for new dodges gen 3, and all other trucks, but not the gen 2, cause it looks like it wont fit due to the winch lowering thing for the spare, and i dont know if you can relocate that or not cause i wanted to get the recone line of fire one with the white back up lights.

ive got that same thing but i dident put it down there have a look

i dont have the b/u lights on thow

you prob just put it overtop and carry a screw driver with you so if u needed the spare just unscrew it and lower it, for as often as youll use the spare (just make sure you always have the screwdriver with u)

yeah thats an idea to screw it down and just carry a screwdriver with me if i need to move it, but most of these lightbars dont have mounting holes its just 3m tape. So would this work, make little spacers for the bar if there arn't mounting holes, i guess? idk what to do. cuase i want the Recon one

well you could make a custom bracket to mount the light bar to so it could be unscrewed when you need to use the tire carrier winch.
Go pick up some flat stock aluminum or stainless steal.fit it to the space you need for the light to cover . with leaveing just enough for mounting brackets and monut it with screws.

Glue some magnets to the back of light strip. If you get a flat, you can remove the light strip and stick it back on when you are done.

if its screwed on (i like that idea), carry a screw drive. As a bonus, it will help prevent people from stealing your spare. Not a very good protector, but it might help.
