Default Installing spring spacers?

I am supposed to help my friend install 2in. rough country spring spacers in the front of his 99 ram. I have never takled a project like this and neither has he, we have access to a small repair shop with a couple different types of vehicle lifts. Obviously I am going to have to support the vehicle, I figure a 2 post lift would be the best, will I need a spring compressor? Or can I just jack up the opposite side of the axle to get the spring out, what do I have toremove, LCA, UCA etc. Will we have to get longer brake lines or trak bar or any thing else?
Thanks in advance.

auclually if you drop the axle so its only held on my the trailing arms (and drag link brake lines ect) there pritty easy to get in with out a spring compresser i dont use one at work or when i did mine, just ends up being more of a PITA (ive used that saying lots today lol...) but ya with the axle hanging itll pop right in there at worst youll half to use a pry bar to nug it in place

brake lines will be fine,
the shocks that are in there will be reusable, in my opinion its best to replace them however under 3 inches isent nessary

Well we got the spacers done in a couple of hours, thanks to you guys. Now for the 1" blocks in the rear, that should be simple though. Thanks alot!
