Superchips vs. Hypertech w/ a 5.2L ????
I am in the market for larger tires and one of my concerns is throwing off the speedo and the decrease in performance that I might feel. So I figured while I was spending I would also pickup a tuner to readjust for tire size and hopefully pickup a few ponies while I am at it.
Does anyone have any direct knowledge or experience with the Superchips and Hypertech programmers on the 5.2L? I have been researching them both but can't seem to come up with real world comparisons between the two.
I must say both companies websites SUCK for giving detailed information!!!
Last, what about within each brand
Hypertech Max Energy vs. Hypertech Dodge Power Programmer III
Superchips Max MicroTuner vs. Tirepaq (which says it can be upgraded to Flashpaq - but when you look at flashpaq it doesn't show my motor?)
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
incase it helps, my mods are
'99 Ram Sport 5.2L w/
S&B air intake kit
cat-back exhaust

These are th same thing, the Max energy just gives you the ability
to update it on-line incase Dodge come up with a new flash for your rig
and you get it and then want to override it.
