Default 97 problems

wow its been awhile .. computer crash, moved, forgot my username but i'm back

did a little offroading in my 97 ram and long story short i lost my grill .. i took out the screws and those little u-shaped things they screw in and i've lost them in the mood .. just in time too cause my new grille will be here any day now (yeah i ordered the cheap one without the screws)

anyone know where i can find just the screws and u-things?

also i'm having a bit of a trouble with shifting .. it dosen't really want to .. not sure if its torque converter or a bad throttle position sensor

basically the rpm's go up and it dosen't shift .. it'll hang around 3.5 or 4 and if you slowly push the peddle the rpm's go up but the power dosen't transfer to the wheels .. almost like its temporarily in neutral .. then it'll bang itself into 3rd or 4th gear .. it also dosen't go into reverse easy .. sometimes it slides right in .. other times i'll shift and it just sits there until i hit the gas (thinking it slipped quietly in) and it jolts hard into reverse

good to be back what have i missed?

I had similar problems with my tranny, and I just changed the fluid and put slick 50 highmileage tranny treatment through it and the problems worked themselves out.
As far as screws... I would say junk yard...

ya, junkyard would work, or if there isnt a good one near you, the dodge dealerships parts department may have what u need.... although a junk yard would probably be cheaper!
