Drivetrain swap
I have a 1500 4x4 with Auto tanny. I want to swap out to a NV4500 with better transfer case and Dana 60's front and rear. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? Also, what are the numbers/ Identifications of the stronger and better transfer cases out there?
One last question, where to find a manual locking hub conversion (tired of crappy gas mileage and wear on parts not in use...)?
I know it is pretty much a swap to a 2500 but I am doing more then just bolting on the parts, some major, and minor, mods to the drive train will go on).
