ive seen a cupple ford SD's DRW that look pritty decent lowered...waist of time and money in my opinion but everyone has got there own virson of "cool"

if your gonna wanna still use the truck as a 1 ton the airbags/hydronics would be the way to go

My dad just did this to his 3500 4X4 dually. The fith wheel camper was riding on the rear wheels and contacted the rear of the bed on rises. The 4X4 shop down the road just took out the factory blocks, which were about 3.5" tall I think. New U-bolts and was leveled out. Before he would use my 5" drop to pull my trailer.

If that's the case, did onehiram even look under his truck? This would have been pretty obvious. The front I would guess you can find some lowered springs or something or give a company like Eibach a call and they should help you.

I'd have to agree with most people and think that this isn't a good idea. It'll look...kinda, uh, different. I know it's the whole mean thing or whatever, but it's not really functional. Getting in and out of gas stations, etc. What a pain. I guess if you have that kinda money to have a strange 1 ton QC dually sitting around, whatever...

When you're done with it, a Dakota will be able to pull more, right? Since the thing will be too low?

Once done it sits level now. All it did was take the rake out of it. Still riding on the same springs so the load capacity hasn't changed.
