There are alot of things people buy that don't do anything or have any gains...example: TB Spacers.

I'll believe it when I see it on a Dyno, not in a book.

You probably would gain Hp from removing the fan and water pump. But your going to loose most of that gain from the alternator having to work harder. The more you change engery the more energy lost. Your engine converts chemical energy into mechanical energy. You waste is the heat. Your fan and water pump are being driven by the mechanical energy. If you switch them to electric then your alternator has to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy more waste due to heat. Then you fan and pump have to convert that electrical energy back to mechanical again more heat waste. So in the end it usually ends up sixs unless your fan and pump are more efficent meaning less heat loss. You might have a small gain but it is minor.

Well Ice, at least the fans are only going at a stop and not when you need the most power.

Thats true. If you put the E-Fans on a thermostat that would work. It'd would be even cooler to wire in a switch. That way when you wanted to launch real quick you could just turn them off. I bet you would be alot closer to 10 hp in gain that way
