Default header problems

ok ive got a 98 ram 1500 5.2 ive got a K&N intake and gibson headers and flowmaster exhaust. but ever since I installed the gibson headers my gas mileage just dropped from 14 to 10 so I thought maybe the o2 sensor were fried but only the bank one was bad replaced both of them and gas mileage went up to 11 or 12 but still poor gas mileage. I have no exhaust leaks but im out of ideas, does anyone think an exhaust wrap would help if not im going to rip them out and put stock manifolds back in.

Exhaust wraps tend to hold the heat in and might cause water to condense more on your headers, thereby causing them to rust. Just speaking from my personal experience with header wrap.
