Progress is going slower than Iv hoped it would go, but no kiddin, this time its almost finished. Today I finished the scoop itself, all the cutting, sanding, primer, drillingand everything. I marked the template on the hood, and started the holes in the hood, but alas I am in need of a better bit that can actually drill through the hood. THe one I have now takes 5 min to go 1/32nd of an inch lol. I just decided to tape off the holes and put them in primer and get back to them tomorrow. I also started with the cutoff wheel on the underside to create the hole, but i need something better than that, I think im going to have to take off the hood and whip out the sawz all.

yea my paint does suck, which is why Im not too concerned about messing up my paint. I do, however, from time to time look at it like a balding man; I want to protect whats left. Oh well, time for hair plugs.

The body kit was gone back in march or so. Its in my garage.

I mean would you be interested in selling the body kit, I wish my truck had it but the previous owner sold theirs.

Im going to fiberglas chickenwire netting into the rearside of the nostrils and I plan on making an insert that clips onto that.

If you put an oil soaked foam insert in there, (kind of like a lawnmower air filter) that'll keep the rain out.

Well, at long last the end is here....well almost. I finished drilling out the holes for the bolts, and cutting the hole for the air, and fitting the scoop. The only problem I had was forgetting to get longer bolts than I did. The store closed before I had the oppertunity to get them.I may cut a little more off than I did, but Ill think on that tomrrow. I also wanted a little more time, than light alloud, to sand up some of themetal shards/shavingsstill attached and even up the edges;but, tomorrow it will be on 100%. All thats left after that is to fiberglass and sand, to make it seal to the hood properly. The paint will come some time later, primer will have to suffice for now. Maybe ill get a cheep rattle can blue so it doesnt stand out so much.

Before you ask, yes the hole is offcenter. Why? Because the motor sits 1-1/2" to the passenger side.
