Default Lookin for a write up for rear disc conversion

Im lookn to do the rear disc conversion on my 96 Ram Sport 4x4. I was doing some searching and found a thread about somebody doing the conversion utilizing a premade kit that they bought. I on the other hand am lookin for a write up or link of some sort that will direct to what parts from what year will help me do the conversion the back yard way, lol.

Thanks guys
DJ

i put the rear wheel cylinders out of a 96 chevy 1 ton and braided brake lines andits just as good as discs. since the mod it locks up the tires with hard braking. thats with 33's.

I would 2nd the idea of using a Chevy rear differential with the factory disk brakes if you could find a set with 5 on 5.5 wheel bolt pattern.

For the Dodge Ram you need to look for a 2001.5+ model year Ram that has been wrecked...or buy the new parts from a discount dealership like
