Lookin for a write up for rear disc conversion
Im lookn to do the rear disc conversion on my 96 Ram Sport 4x4. I was doing some searching and found a thread about somebody doing the conversion utilizing a premade kit that they bought. I on the other hand am lookin for a write up or link of some sort that will direct to what parts from what year will help me do the conversion the back yard way, lol.

People on here have talked about using them out of a 1ton chevy, i dont know the years but i need to find out on all the parts i need from the junkyard so i can do it to mine.
i put the rear wheel cylinders out of a 96 chevy 1 ton and braided brake lines andits just as good as discs. since the mod it locks up the tires with hard braking. thats with 33's.
I would 2nd the idea of using a Chevy rear differential with the factory disk brakes if you could find a set with 5 on 5.5 wheel bolt pattern.
For the Dodge Ram you need to look for a 2001.5+ model year Ram that has been wrecked...or buy the new parts from a discount dealership like
