Default recommended in/lbs. torque wrench

I'mlooking foropinions on a good in/lbs. torque wrench. All I seem to find localy are ones by Great Neck that start at 120 in/lbs. That's too much for plenum gasketrepair, or the tranny band adjustments.

Not looking to spend a mint, but if you have experience using one on a regular basis that is heads and tails better than anything else you've used, I'd consider spending a little more.

Thanks!

most of the dodge specs that are in inch lbs are divisible by 12....so just divide it by 12 and set your ft lb wrench to that spec. (intake manifold...144 inch lbs=12 ft lbs.)

Yeah, I knew divide by 12 rule, but a ft/lbs. torque wrench that starts at 10=120in/lbs. I would need one that starts at 7ft/lbs. to do the two step process the TSB recommends.

The Craftsman ones are great quality for the price, like all of their tools.

I too have Craftsman and like it alot. I also got one of the Harbor Freight ones menioned above. It's an auto clicker type and was very accurate when put against the Craftsman. $15, how far wrong can you go?

I got my 1/2" ft-lbs one from them. I also have an 3/8 inch pound one too I got from AA.
No tool box is complete without both in-lbs and ft-lbs wrenches.

Well now...

The Craftsman is on sale for 37.49 thru tonight,

The harbor freight I can get a3/8",0 to 80 ft/lbs for 19.99 anytime. Since I've got to order the plenum kit from Hughes, might as well get the harbor freight and save the money.

Thanks guys!
