It still is only for carbureated engines. No fuel injection holes.

There is another 4bbl version for mpi. It comes with an adapter that will allow the stock type tb to be used. It is mainly for high stall/revs though. Hughes is adapting an Edelbrock Air gap dual plane for use on the mpi Magnum engine, but, according to KRC's dyno, it gains nothing over the M1 and costs quite a bit more.

mhm, i remember seeing that.I would like to see both dynos before Id say yay or nay on that, its not just the peak power Im worried about. My truck is after all a daily driver so Id like to have fun all the time, not just at 5500.

Cut and paste from another forum by Marty from KRC:

Quote:
The numbers where actually 2 off less, but the same peak rpm, peak TQ. No change in the powerband or how it responds on the street. Thats why I did the dyno to see what TQ gains would be affected, could care less about the peak HP.

Tell the Delphi boys making comments, that no GSC/PPH header ever compared to the Ram Pacesetter 1 3/4 long tubes either. I went from 460tq with a LT 1 5/8 Hooker Header to 492tq by changing to this header on the DTS dyno.

Back on topic, no change anywhere in the powerband compared to a untouched M-1 2bbl.

end quote
