Just curious guys, what would it take to make my 2500 gas burner a diesel? and how much do yall think it would run me?

More than its worth, most likely. Diesel engine + Tranny + new fuel supply system + electronics, more and more....

i really dont understand questions like this? you shouldnt be asking HOW ( you would do this), but WHY you would even want to do this? If anything put a diesel in a 1500 to make it stand out from everything else out there, not just make it look like everything out there.

YES YES YES!!!! thats what im talkin about... any 2500 can have a diesel.. but ppl tell me that my 1500 ... putting a diesel in it CANT be done... BS!!! i seen it ONCE... and i want mine to be the second... i been thinking about selling mine to get one.. but i like mine... and i want to make it diesel... but i dont know how... so enlighten me...

heres a 38 page,, and yes,, i typed 38,, thread in a forum from a fella that has already done it.. he has gone beyond just a CTD in a 1500 chassis,, if you dont crap your pants with this build, something is wrong with you

i think the only original parts are sheetmetal, and frame rails
