Yes I have reset the PCM several times and that doesnt help. OK so last night I spent about an hour looking for vacuum leaks and could not find anything, I guess I'm going to try to hook up a gage and check intake manifold vacum like that, does anyone know how to this? and what kind of reading I should be getting? thanks in advance I just want to make sure I dont start replacing gaskets if thats not what is wrong. Also I dont know if this makes a difference but I noticed yesterday that when I turn the ac on the looping goes away and the truck iddles normal.

Intake manifold vac will (normally) be in the 18-22ish range. I'd bet 10 different trucks would give you 10 different readings. Suffice to say, though, that if you got a reading of <15, you have a leak somewhere.
It's possible the a/c put enough of a load on the engine to smooth it out.

Checked the cat? Dont know why it would cause idle issues, but it would cause it to be sluggish and such.....
