0720 error code, Speed sensor.Where is it??

0720 error code, Speed sensor.Where is it??
Ok so I got a 0720 error code and I know it is a speed sensor, but thats as far as I can figure out with the info that I have. My truck will also kick in and out of cruise control, (probably because of the bad sensor). Does anyone know where the sensor is and exactly what it is called.. Thanks for any help.......

Its on the drivers side of the tranny, right near the tale shaft. It has a two-wire connector on it and removes with a 1" socket. Have fun, its a five minute job and a $25 part.

and download the service manual. It is a pdf and will allow you to do a search for 'speed sensor'. It is for 2001 2nd gen trucks, but should be the same for your 2000.

You Rock. Thanks so much...... I am planning on drivin my ram from FL to MD and back end of september, bout a 17 hour drive 1 way, let me tell Ya Brother, I will sure appreciate that cruise control..lol Thanks again
