I'm not a big fan of grill guards unless your on a Ranch or something, but that looks pretty good I think. Nice job, good mod.

How did you do this with the chains?

I don't have a 4x4, but up front chains like that would come in handy for the things that I do.

I was wondering if someone was going to ask about that, very simple 5 minute job, just get a couple of chains, wrapthem around the cross member and theoutside of the frame rail on each side, slap ahook on one end and a quick connect on the other and walla, instant "tow hooks."IDID HAVE actual tow hooks where the chains are now, but the bracket for the grill guard needed to mount where the brackets for my tow hooks were, thus i had to take them off[>:].Living in rural North Dakota, I still wanted/needed some sort of recovery point on the front of my truck,so after some thinking icame up with the chains solution. It's a little redneckbuttheydo workquite well and i actually got a compliment on them the other day.
