no replies to my other post, so i will try again. 99 1500 with 5.2. on occasion, starter would drag, and one day, started truck and starter was still engaged. turned off, and was still engaged. bought new starter, and all went well for about two days, then same thing. switched relays with blower relay(same one) and all went well. bought new relay from dodge dealer, put it in and just clicks. wont turn over. put old relay (blower relay) back in and starts so far so good! never had problems with key switch, and was told by dodge mech that they either work or they dont(no middle).anybody have any ideas as to why the new relay wont work? (original Part #). also bought another relay form local auto parts, and does same thing.
