lift kit

what size tires can i use if i put 5 inch suspension lift and 2 inch body lift on 2001 ram 1500 series with 4 wheel drive and 5.9 liter engine

35s ..im gonna be putting on 315s= 34 on a 6 inch

thanks alot one more question have you ever heard that dodge trucks dont have the best built transmissions mine just went out and it has 137000 mile

you could say we have heard of 1 or 2 failing before! that was just my dads truck tho...lol...

Question. Why spend and put the effort into a body lift and not use the 3" kit? I would say 36" as long as the susp. lift is a true 5"

I have 3" and 3" and 35's fit fine with just enough clearance to not hit.

Each truck is going to fit a little different depending on rim size, accessoriesand truck wear. Our recomendations are from our experience and can differ from trucks.

I am putting on a 6" to go with the 3" body lift and have a set of 37" tires to go on. The back is done and the front is still hanging on stands right now.

I have a 5-in suspension and a 3-in body running 35x12.50 R15 and as you you can see I've got plenty of space left.
