did u ever figure out wat was happening to ur truck?
mine is doing the same thing bucking and backfireing thru the throttle body.
2000 dogde ram 1500 4x4 5.2 engine.115,00klm
I have replaced the iac, tps, coil, and have had a recent tuneup(plugs wires & cap)
when I start in the morning it starts good and runs fine till the first stop light(about 5 min)then it starts to act up if I feather the gas a little it will clear up and run great .also when I run it on the highway it runs great at all speeds. But if i stop somewhere to get a coffee and it sits for more that 5 minutes it does the same thing backfiring and bucking.no codes are shown on dash.anybody have any ideas cause this very frustrating?

Yes I did figure it out I pulled the codes friday morning after a rough trip home from work. It gave me a code on the IAC and the O2 sensor. From what I figured out the iac was telling the pmc one thing and the O2 sensor was telling it another they were battling each other if this is possible? I changed the iac and the pre O2 sensor and cleared the codes and it runs perfect now. Thanks to everyone for there input. Hope this helps you out toolman_al!
