My factory unit broke up and landed in my differential case. I would think thats a bad idea, thestock posi unit is a POS.

get an aftermarket.

There's a do it yourself unit(sorry I can't remember the name,) An Auburn LSD, a Detriot Trutrac,or eaton units as well.

I go a trutrac put infor $750 total andlike it a lot.

You can get new factory posi units on Ebay all the time cheap until your ready to spend the money for a good one. The onlyissue is the cost to install and set up. You will probably want to change gears for more take off power while your in there. The stock stuff would probably do OK as long as you don't get to far up in the power. Add nitrous, slicks,or other power added and it might have a rough time.

yea I was gonna do the install myself. 4.10s would go in at the same time. When I get more power I would go for an auburn unit.

Get a ratcheting locker, they're cheap and work awesome. I know theres not much of a selection of lockers for the 9.25 though.
