2" LEVELING KIT?!
I have an 01 4x4Off Road and im thinking about the rev tek 2" leveling kit for the front. Im running a 315/70/17 (34.4") tire size with no rubbing at all. Ive searched the site and ive found info about throwing the steering and front axle out of wack?
Has anyone been down this road that could shed some light on this subject?!

You will probably want to do a drop pitman for the steering. The control arms will be pretty maxed out since that will equate to almost 4" of total lift on stock arms. You could just replace the arms with some adjustable ones, or run it like it is, but your axle will definetly be pulled back. You might rub on the rear of the fender well.
Maybe Shott can chime in because I am pretty sure he did this on his truck.

I have an 01 off road ram with a 2" leveling kit on the front. Installing the spacers did pull the front axle back toward the cab slightly, but not too much. I never measured it prior to installing the kit, so I am not certain how far back the axle moved. I am currently running 33" tires with this set up and don't come close to rubbing on any steering components or on the the wheel well.

its not hard at all to add a spacer , but there is a line when cross you gotta change a few things ..anything after a 3" lift should be changed : pitman arm , drop sway bar block , and of course the trac bar .. Now you dont have to do this but it does stress the susp . since you will have a 4 " ...stuff 34s on that... ..CAUTION !!! once you start lifting , you will want to go higher and check your local law on the bumper height PA is 30"
