lift status update
I haven't been on here much in a while so just for an update on how the lift is going.
The back is done. The add-a-leafs are longer than the original ones that where on there so it should ride smoother. If anyone gets a kit with the brake line block extended bracket, skip it and spend a few bucks to get a longer line. It will look better, and you will probably break the old one getting it off anyway, so the stock one is already half the cost.
The front is hanging on jack stands. The factory front suspension brackets have been plasma cut off the frame, so there is no going back. Went ahead and cut, grinded and sanded the side frame areas and am painting with Chrysler low gloss black to help with the lowriders looking at it.The axle is outside to sandblast and paint. The steering is in the floor. Most is getting replaced. Haven't decided wether to spend the money for the crossover steering yet. The pitman arm is still hanging on. Broke the first puller trying to get it off.
It is barely going to get out of the garage.....
