Default CEL help..

ok CEL came on tonight
throwing code 43

Ign. Coil circuit #1, 2, 3, 4, 5

all of those are the same code...

plugs have been replaced with bosch plat.4
rotor and dist. cap replaced last oil change, about 2K miles
wires replaced awhile ago maybe 8 oil changes?

tomorrow i plan to take off all the wires, cap and rotor and check for damage, same with the plugs..

is there anything obvious that im missing here?? or has anyone else had a problem with this??

ALSO
would unplugging the neg. bat. cable for like 10 mins. re-set the PCM and clear the code??
cause i want to clear is and see if it happens again after i check everything

any help would be GREATLY appreciated since this is my DD to school and work

thanks alot.

resetting pcm is accomplished on my 01 by disconnecting neg, battery and turning key to start for 30 sec. this should clear all codes and cel.

Don't know if it'll make a huge difference, but check the TSB for the 98 rams about spark plug wire rerouting and try toroute them that way:

ok this morning before i headed off to class i made sure all the plugs were tight and the boots and connectors were snug, pulled of the ign. plug and blew some crap off it.

re-set the PCM, no CEL, been about 15 start-ups..

if it comes back on i will test the coil as it will probably need to be replaced, i do not think it has ever been replaced.
MSD coil will replace it unless anyone has a better suggestion?
