K7N DROP IN, WHAT OIL
I just got a 03 dodge ram QC 4x4 with a 5.9L. I thought i would post my question here in the Gen 2 forum since i have a 5.9L.
Two questions:
1. does a drop in K&N filter help any with mpg. I had a 3.9 dakota several years ago and i think it helped.
2. what grade of oil do you use. it calls for 10w30 or 5w30 in the winter. i was thinking of using mobile 1 5w30, is this ok to use year round? I live in WI high temps only in the 80's. what do you use.
