Default Brake Light and ABS Light

Hello,

I have a 99 Ram 1500 2WD and the ABS and Brake lights are on.

Had the speed sensor changed but lights are still lit. Any ideas?

1. Speedometer doesn't work till 25mph
2. Engine Revs when put in Park
3. Engine Revs when Started
4. Transmission not shifting properly
5. Doesn't seem to have very much power when stepping on the gas

All of this started with the ABS and Brake Light.

Sound familiar to anyone?

Thank you
Susan

If you have a digital odometer, turn the key on (butdon't crank it over) off, on, off, onand the odometermight display a"P" then a series of numbers.

Post those numbers here and somebody will be able to help.

I'll try the key thing with my digital odometer.

The sensor I believe was on the transmission.

Thanks for the help

yeah there's another Speed sensor on the top of the Rear Differential that may need to be replaced., and that one is usually the one causing the problem you have explained.
