Trailer Hookup on a 2000 Sport
Gey guys.
I've added a trailer hitch to my 2000 Ram Sport last winter mainly for pulling purposes (read tow hook).
I now want to use a trailer, but since the truck never had a tow package, I don't have wiring hookup.
I've done a bit of searching, and found that the 3rd Gen trucks were all pre-wired from factory. They just had the 4-pin connector taped up inside the bumper or something along those lines.
Does anyone know if the 2nd Gens have something similar hidden somewhere?
Thanks for any help.
P.S. If anyone knows the color code for the wires I should splice into, that would be great too.

You must've missunderstood my question. I know I can buy "T harnesses" that will just plug into my taillight harness. I was asking about existing factory wiring!
No, there is no existing wiring, but I just put a "T" harness on my uncles 96 that he found at lowes clearanced out for three bucks. There is a plug on each side going to the taillights and you just un plug it and plug the harness in.
