"offroad" needs 2" of lift in rear
i have a off road version 01 ram with 2" spacers up front. the back end looks droopy so i want to raise it 2".. can people who have done this on off roads tell me what they did and how it worked .
i really dont want blocks. id rather replace the whole pack or do addaleaves. what about breaklines and driveshaft angle.
also can someone count how many leaves are on a regular 4wd ram1500 i think offroads might have an extra in their. thanks

oem offroads came with blocks to begin with.. so if yours are not their that means someone took them offf... or put offroad stickers and a non offroad model... but .. judging by your profilepic .. your skidplates tell me yours is really an offroad
id just throw blocks back on... or an AAL would help too..
IIRC my offroad as 2" blocks and an AAL...

I have an 01 off road and i went the add a leaf route for the rear. The only things that i needed in addition to the leaves were new longer u-bolts (the stock ones are not long enough with the additional leaf) and new center pins for the spring packs. The center pins were just b/c i wanted all new hardware back there, i don't think they are necessary. but the longer u-bolts are necessary in my opinion, not only b/c the stock ones are very close to being too short, but b/c i believe the originalsstretch when reinstalled. other than that, there was no additional modification needed and it did not negatively affect the driveshaft angles
