think my truck has a lift...
i have a 96 dodge ram 1500 2wd and i didnt think it had a lift but im thinking more and more it does. im not sure but hopefully you guys can help me. factory door jam says its suppose to have 225/75/16 (29.44" tall)tires but this has 265/75/16 (31.83" tall)on stock wheels and no rubbing at all. that is one of the reasons why i think it has a lift but also because i parked next to another 2wd ram and it was just a basic work truck. it didnt look like it has any mods at all . now i looked in the rear tire area to see if he has any rust on his frame and i cant even see his frame! the wheel well pretty much covered the frame and most of the leaf spring but on mine i can see my most of my frame and leaf. what is the easiest way to tell? thanks.

take a picture of the frame. the body mounts, and the front and rear suspension, and we can tell you. Also you truck is going to sit 2 inches taller then a stock 2wd ram because of your tires
Looks stock to me. I doubt 265's would rub on nearly any dodge because they simply aren't wide enough. The first place you rub with a bigger tire is the control arms due to the tire width. It takes a pretty huge jump in tire size before you can ever expect to rub the wheel wells. So just because 265's don't rub doesn't really mean much. Like said above, looke for some spacers between the frame and body.
i dont think it has a leveling kit because the front sits 2" lower then the front like most. i think it may have a small body lift because i do notice that the crossmember and driveshaft show alot as well as alot of the frame. ill try and take more pics for you guys to see.
also, one other reason i thought it has a lift was being that it already has 265/75s with a 3" lift it could fit 33swithout problem.adding about 1more inch of tire which would be only 1/2" on each side of the tire right now would benothing. but when i read most 2wd lift kits they say with 3" lift i can fit 265/75s.. and 6" liftis what clears 33s.. so i dont know it just all seemsto point at this truck having a lift done before i purchased it.
thanks for the respounces.
