Default changing tire size

I now have 245/75/16 on my truck Im going to 265's But I can only buy 2 for rite now and 2 later . So Im woundering my truck is 4wd will it hurt my transfer case If I run 265 on the back for now . I dont think it will unlessI lock it in 4wd but just want to make sure .

It wont matter one bit unless you put it in 4wd on pavment. 4wd off roadin wont hurt it. Also if your lookin for bigger tire size, 285/75/16 on the stock rims fit perfect and dont rub on my 2000 quad cab 4X4 and these are BFG mud terrains.
