99 5.2L 4x4 ~ A/C Stopped working!
Wrong! Your system holds a charge of 32oz. of 134a from scratch. The a/c will feel noticably less cool at a charge of about 26-28oz. At about 20oz. the low press. cutoff switch will override the clutch and the compressor will not engage and you will have no a/c. You put in (according to your post)32oz. and all is cool. A leak of just 1/4-1/2 oz.per year is considerd excessive and will show up on a leak test.
Look, I'm not trying to bust your chops here. I'm glad your cool again. But, you do have a leak. Even in 8 years 32 oz. is too much. Do the math...4oz per year and you should have lost your cool in year 2!
I have 1990 Nissan 240 running factory original charge of R12 --NO LEAKS! Original owner; never changed refrigerant. Don't ask me how, but it's true and I'm going out on a limb even mentioning it. Tomorrow, it'll probably start leaking, lol.
Point is, ANY leak is unacceptable.

Well, I did put 32 oz in the system but I think i put too much. After the first 19 oz it was cool but I figured, hey, I got another 13 what harm can it cause...so I put it in.
Ok, ok, ok...so there was a leak...haha lol
The leak was in a valve or something like that. I dropped it off at the shop today and they fixed it for like $90. They also fixed my brakes...man I am excited to pick it up.

"Like" $90? Anywhere in the 'hood of $90 and consider yourself a WINNER! Throw in the brakes, and, well, give everyone the name and phone number of your shop. They sound like they're honest.
