Default Is There a Good Way to Repair a Cracked Dash?

I've had my Ram for a couple of months now, since the beginning of June. When I bought it the dash was fine. Then for a month we had 100F and over temps. and for the last two weeks it's been about 90F. I just got into my truck this morning and looked at the dash and there was a nice crack staring back at me. I've kept a window visor in it since I bought it to try and keep it out of direct sunlight, and apparently that didn't do too well. I was just wondering if anyone has any good ways to repair, or at least stop the crack from spreading aside from buying a new dash? Thanks

I wonder if someone brushed some clear on a unbroken dash if it would keep for cracking?

Just ordered my dash cover from Coverlay yesterday. $160 shipped. I have two very tiny cracks up by the vents. I just want to prevent any huge holes. I know they're coming, so I'll get this on and have a nice surface to adhere to. Lifetime unconditional warranty. They were very nice and helpful.

Seems like it could be possible. I was thinking about something like very small amounts of crazy glue or some kind of sealer. Now that it's started, I would just rather stop it from cracking all the way across the dash or something.

You'll have to get some pics up after it's installed. I'm curious as to how flush it will look being put on over the factory dash. Not too bad of a price though. This may be the type of solution that I eventually turn to. There are just other things that I want to do first, so I am hoping to prolong the life of my dash as is.

The previous owner of my truck hot glued pieces of plastic ruler to either side of the huge cracks in my dash.

Nice, is it holding up pretty good? I'm looking for somethinga little less noticeable though, but if it works it works.
