Unplug tail light harness
disconnect fuel fuller at gas cap area
remove bolts from frame to truck bed from underneath (8 I think).
It's been a while

If you aren't dead set on removing the bed, I would suggest just dropping the fuel tank. I removed mine last winter and it was fairly easy and doesn't requireadditional help like with removing the bed. You need to unscrew the filler neck, disconnect the fuel and fuel tank vent hoses (clamps). Reach above the fuel tank and unhook the connection (be careful when unclipping ). And all that is left is two fuel tank straps to unbolt (easily accessible).

If you are goingto remove the bed- same instructions above but also you will need to disconnect fuel filler neck ( screws under fuel door, (and/or)removing clamps on fuel and vent hoses.
